Ep. 284 - Elseworlds - Batman The Brave and The Bold - Trials of The Demon!
Manage episode 382133102 series 1958660
'Tis the season to be SCARY and the Good Brothers are visiting their favorite Elseworld to get in the mood with a review of the Batman The Brave and The Bold episode "Trials of The Demon!" - With a prologue that involves the king of fear himself the Scarecrow and his diabolical plan to ruin Halloween for all of Gotham, the hosts set the stage for an enjoyable trip for Batman to the 1800s London to team up with Sherlock Holmes and The Demon Etrigan to stop a mysterious thief of souls. The hosts talk about one major visual nod to an all-time Elseworlds comic, a soundtrack that capitalizes on the setting, Etrigan speaking in rhyme as God intended and what they may have improved on when it came to the good but somewhat overstuffed plot. All of this and much more, including a preview of next week's episode and another FIVE STAR review winner await you on this week's DCABOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Review!
