Linda Ruggeri is a bilingual (EN/SP) nonfiction editor and writer based out of Los Angeles. She’s the author of recently published Networking for Writers, and the co-author of Networking for Freelance Editors which won an IBPA Benjamin Franklin Award in 2022. She graduated cum laude from Loyola Marymount University with a degree in Communications and Fine Arts. She’s directed the Editorial Freelancers Association Welcome Program, the Professional Editors Network mentorship program, and has presented at writing and publishing conferences across the US. She is a founding member of The Networking Studio as well as the Argentinean-based writer community Tres Vías Creativas (@3vc .crea).
Born to immigrant parents in Los Angeles, Linda is Latinx and a first-generation American. She loves to travel and has lived in Córdoba (Argentina), Naples and Salerno (Italy), Windsor (Canada), Green Lake (Wisconsin), and Torrance (California). Besides being an editor, Linda is an avid urban gardener and baker, a writer and a mom, and would gladly trade any night out for a good nonfiction book and sleeping bag in her treehouse.
