Ronnie was born in the early 60's and was the oldest of the 3 kids, he had 2 younger sisters. Ronnie said he came from a dysfunctional family that was "WORSE THAN SOME AND BETTER THAN OTHERS!" He was born in Hollywood California in 1961 and his grandfather worked in the television industry so Ronnie was always drawn to the screen and tv and lights and the stage. He grew up in his stomping grounds of Culver City and Santa Monica area. His parents didn't drink or use drugs but the home was always very INTENSE! He can only remember going to church a couple times when he was younger and it was usually because mom or dad had to get right with God, never did it mean anything to Ronnie. By the time Ronnie was 10,11,12 he was listening to Elton John and The Beach Boys. He grew up with ice skate hockey on the ice rink and was actually very good at it. He also played basketball and baseball but kept going back to hockey. By the time Ronnie started high school he was listening to the new "KISS" double album "ALIVE" and was instantly hooked on the music, the musician lifestyle of groupies, gigs, drinking and druggin. He started his own garage band by the time he was 17 and soon was sneaking into places on the sunset strip, Santa Monica blvd, and the Hollywood blvd playing and watching other bands play. Have you ever heard of Van Halen, Ronnie would frequent the club in LA they were the house band at before they were 'THE VAN HALEN"!!!! He can remember telling his mom, "MOM ROCKSTARS DONT MOW THE LAWN, ROCKSTARS DONT PICK UP DOG POOP" and still his mom would make him do the chores. He was really just looking for LOVE and ACCEPTANCE through all the different things he was doing and he didn't learn that lesson until later in life. Listen to this story of what GOD can do when he grips a mans heart. Be encouraged because if God can do it with Ronnie GOD CAN DO IT WITH YOU AS WELL!! JESUS LOVES YOU.
