Cancer is a complex disease with many facets linked to genetics, abnormal cellular mechanisms, environmental exposures, etc. A key element in cancer prevention is diet, and in many situations, cancer can be helped with improved nutrition. The problem is there is no one established diet for all types of cancer, but there are nutritional and lifestyle approaches that can be helpful for many individuals in general. In this podcast Dr. Woeller interviews Christina Santini who is a clinical nutritionist and dietician.
Christina Santini Biography:
Dietitian degree (Human Nutrition) from Copenhagen Metropolitan University, certified in Biological Medicine from Switzerland by Paracelsus Academy by Dr. Rau MD, certified in Medical Thermography and more.
She is the owner of The Nutrition Clinic in Copenhagen and specializes in full-body health check-ups, early risk detection & prevention and performance optimization. She has worked several years at private hospitals in Europe along with 7 years in New York (including 2 years for Dr. Eric Braverman MD, pioneer in brain health) and Los Angeles for medical doctors and anti-aging clinics. This, in addition to doing workshops for cancer patient organizations, writing articles in various outlets and has been featured in ELLE magazine. Christina Santini is particularly passionate about the science-based overlapping between Western medicine and Eastern health philosophy.
