Lauren Pisciotta’s first lawsuit against Kanye West, filed in June 2024, accuses him of sexual harassment, breach of contract, wrongful termination, and creating a hostile work environment during her time as his personal assistant from 2021 to 2022. Pisciotta alleges that West sent her explicit videos, masturbated in front of her on multiple occasions, and subjected her to inappropriate text messages. One disturbing incident described in the lawsuit involves West allegedly performing a sexual act in front of her during an overnight flight to Paris, under the guise of needing to talk privately.
Pisciotta's lawsuit also claims that West promised her significant financial rewards, such as a $1 million annual salary, and later offered additional compensation if she quit her OnlyFans account. However, she asserts that West did not follow through on these promises. After being promoted to Chief of Staff across West’s companies in September 2022, Pisciotta was abruptly fired and denied the severance package she was promised. In response, West's legal team denied the allegations, labeling them baseless and accusing Pisciotta of extortion and misconduct to extract money from him.
This lawsuit adds to West’s ongoing legal troubles, further spotlighting the controversial and allegedly toxic work environment within his ventures, as previously reported by other former employees and acts a prelude to the more damning second lawsuit filed by Lauren Pisciotta over the weekend.
In this episode, we begin our look at that first lawsuit.
