Paolo Mazzucato is an American fiction author and screenwriter. He began his writing career as a Chicago playwright and award-winning student filmmaker before moving to Los Angeles where he won awards for screenwriting and scripted various projects for film and television. He is also the author of several children’s books including: “No One Mocks a Panda” (an Amazon #1 Best Seller, Feb. 2019), and “The Absolutely True Story of La Befana” (an Amazon Holiday Top 100 title). Marianne R. Klein, aka Marika Roth, was born in Budapest, Hungary. She lived in Paris, France after WWII, until she was transferred to Montreal, Canada for adoption. There she studied creative writing as well as psychology at Sir George William University in Montreal. Following her move to Los Angeles, she continued her writing studies first at Beverly Hills High and then at UCLA. Born in England, and a graduate of Oxford University, Richard started out as a writer of stage plays, comedy revues and TV, for such shows as Not the Nine O’clock News. Rowan Atkinson performed his Schoolmaster sketch in John Cleese’s The Secret Policemen’s Ball, and he has a host of other TV credits. On being hired by Columbia Pictures TV, Richard moved to Los Angeles. He has written libretti for several new operas composed by Lee Holdridge, produced by the LA Opera, as well as writing new English versions of German and Italian classics.
