According to a recent interview, Solana co-founder Anatoly Yakovenko believes that Coinbase's Base layer-2 scaling solution for Ethereum is now Solana's biggest competitor due to its high level of network activity. Yakovenko suggests that Base is competing with Solana based on the amount of activity happening on each network. He also mentions that Sui and Aptos have been catching up to Solana in terms of features and price, although the differences between them and Ethereum are smaller than Solana's.
