Your Daily Prayer 🙏🏾 🙏🏾 🙏🏾 Luke 1:68
Sometimes the strength we need comes from the encouragement of someone who understands our journey.
Are there unresolved conflicts in your family? Take the first step towards peace
You never regret showing forgiveness and mercy.
Inspired by Matthew 1:20
After learning she would bear the Savior, Mary traveled to the hill country of Judah to visit her cousin Elizabeth, seeking comfort and understanding. Their time together became a safe haven for Mary, transforming her doubts into praise as she magnified the Lord.
STORY
Bible in a Year: A Safe Haven
Scripture
Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.
Galatians 6:2
Have you ever faced a moment of doubt and needed someone to share your burden?
After receiving the life-changing news that she would bear the Messiah, Mary traveled to her cousin Elizabeth, who was also experiencing a miraculous pregnancy. Mary’s journey was not just about the physical distance—it was a search for comfort and understanding. When she arrived, Elizabeth, filled with the Holy Spirit, welcomed her with joy and affirmed God’s work in her life.
At that moment, Mary’s doubts turned to praise as she sang the Magnificat, glorifying God.
This story reminds us of the importance of seeking and offering support in times of need. Galatians 6:2 calls us to “bear one another’s burdens,” fulfilling the law of Christ.
Do you have someone in your life who needs encouragement? Or perhaps you’re the one seeking comfort. Pray for the courage to reach out and for the grace to be a source of strength for others, just as Elizabeth was for Mary.
REFLECTION
Think about the relationships in your life where you can offer or receive encouragement. Today, consider reaching out to someone who might need reassurance or finding a trusted friend to share your own doubts with. Ask God to help you be a source of His love and strength in someone’s life.
Your support enables us to share hope with those who most need it.
Help others step into their God-given purpose.
PRAYER
“Blessed be the Lord, the God of Israel, for he has visited and redeemed his people”
LUKE 1:68
We are filled with awe and gratitude. We praise You for Your divine intervention and love so profound that You sent us a Savior, the greatest gift humanity has ever received.
We praise You for Your faithfulness, love that never fails, and promise of redemption that was beautifully fulfilled
Help us to live each day in the light of this truth. In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.🙏🏾

Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 Amos 3:3 Can two walk together, except they be agreed?” AMOS 3:3 DEVOTION Based on Amos 3 Unity is essential for walking closely with someone. This verse highlights the power of agreement, not just in opinion, but in heart, purpose, and direction. A lasting connection requires alignment in friendship, marriage, or ministry. It doesn’t mean we must be identical, but we must share common values and vision. God invites us to walk in step with Him, which means yielding to His ways and letting go of what leads us astray. True fellowship is born from mutual submission, love, and understanding. Without agreement, forward movement stalls. A.C.T.S. REFLECTION ADORATION: Lord, I praise You for walking with me in grace and truth. You are steady and faithful and always invite me to deeper alignment with You. CONFESSION: Forgive me for the times I’ve resisted walking in agreement with You or with others. I’ve let pride or stubbornness create division. THANKSGIVING: Thank You for the people You’ve placed in my life who walk beside me with purpose and grace. Thank You for Your Spirit who guides us in unity. SUPPLICATION: Father, teach me to walk harmoniously with others and You. Where there’s disunity, bring peace. Where there’s pride, bring humility. Help me to seek shared purpose and Christlike love in all my relationships. PRAYER “Can two walk together, except they be agreed?” AMOS 3:3 Dear Lord, Walking in agreement with the same vision is not an easy task. Even for those that are married, there are competing desires and opinions. We pray for our own relationships, marriages, and friendships; we pray that You would unify us under You. May Your vision for us bind us together in one accord. May we walk hand and hand with each other, holding one another up on the long journey that is life. Strengthen and humble us, Lord. In Jesus’ name, Amen. 🙏🏾 PRAY FOR YOUR COMMUNITY Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/jarvis-kingston--1517583/support .…

Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 Genesis 2:24 Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.” GENESIS 2:24 DEVOTION Based on Genesis 2 This verse speaks to the sacred unity of marriage. God designed it not as a contract but as a covenant—two lives becoming one. Leaving and cleaving are about forming a new foundation, rooted in love, loyalty, and shared purpose. Oneness doesn’t mean losing identity; it means growing together under God’s guidance. In marriage, we reflect the intimacy and faithfulness of God’s love for His people. This kind of union takes humility, grace, and commitment. Whether you’re married or preparing, God’s design points us toward sacrificial love and lasting connection. A.C.T.S. REFLECTION ADORATION: Lord, I praise You as the Creator of marriage, the One who unites hearts and purposes for Your glory. CONFESSION: Forgive me for times I’ve misunderstood or neglected Your design, for being selfish or distant in relationships You’ve called me to honor. THANKSGIVING: Thank You for the gift of covenant love—for relationships built not just on emotion but also on Your truth. Thank You for the beauty of oneness in Your plan. SUPPLICATION: Father, strengthen my commitment to love selflessly and cling to what honors You. Whether in marriage or preparation, teach me to build relationships on grace, truth, and unity. Let every relationship I enter reflect Your faithfulness and draw others to You. PRAYER “Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.” GENESIS 2:24 Dear Heavenly Father, You have created marriage to be a beautiful reflection of Your love. The oneness between husband and wife is sacred, mysterious, and precious in Your sight. We pray for all marriages in need of Your unifying Spirit. For those couples feeling disjointed and distant, remind them of the magnificent union marriage is meant to be. Unify them under Your love, and galvanize them through Your word. Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 Luke 6:31 Luke 6:31 And as you would like and desire that men would do to you, do exactly so to them. DEVOTION Based on Luke 6 This simple but powerful command—known as the Golden Rule—calls us to treat others not based on how they act, but how we wish to be treated. It’s a call to empathy and action, to extend grace, kindness, and patience, even when it’s undeserved. Jesus didn’t just teach this; He lived it. When we respond with love instead of retaliation, we reflect His heart. This principle transforms relationships, creates peace, and builds trust. It’s not easy, but it’s holy. And every time we choose to live this way, we shine God’s light in a dark world. A.C.T.S. REFLECTION ADORATION: Jesus, I praise You for living this truth perfectly—for treating others with love, even when mistreated. You are the perfect example of compassion. CONFESSION: I confess that I often act based on how others treat me rather than how You’ve called me to respond. I hold grudges and choose silence over grace. THANKSGIVING: Thank You for Your mercy that teaches me to be merciful. Thank you to those who have extended kindness when I least deserved it. SUPPLICATION: Lord, help me treat others with love, especially when difficult. Change my reactions and renew my mindset. Let me mirror Your grace to others, creating peace, healing, and a deeper sense of Your love in every interaction. PRAYER “For a bishop must be blameless, as the steward of God; not self willed, not soon angry, not given to wine, no striker, not given to filthy lucre; But a lover of hospitality, a lover of good men, sober, just, holy, temperate.” LUKE 6:31 Dear Lord Jesus, You are the perfector of the golden rule. You are the ultimate example to follow for our conduct. I pray for a renewed appreciation for Your words and deeds. I pray they would inspire me in my day-to-day life. I want to treat people like I want to be treated – with understanding, patience, and love. When I fail at these things, gently guide me back to a faithful place. I want others to be better off because I was in their life. Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 Titus 1:7-8 For a bishop must be blameless, as the steward of God; not self willed, not soon angry, not given to wine, no striker, not given to filthy lucre; But a lover of hospitality, a lover of good men, sober, just, holy, temperate.” TITUS 1:7-8 DEVOTION Based on Titus 1 Paul’s instruction to Titus outlines the high calling of a spiritual leader. But these qualities aren’t just for bishops—they’re a blueprint for anyone who wants to honor God. Leaders in the Kingdom are to be marked by humility, patience, self-control, and love for what is good. These traits come from living close to God, not striving for image but cultivating Christlike character. God entrusts His work to those willing to be stewards, not owners. True leadership is not about control but service—reflecting God’s heart in all things. A.C.T.S. REFLECTION ADORATION: Lord, You are the ultimate example of holy leadership—gentle, just, and full of truth. I honor You for Your perfect character. CONFESSION: Forgive me for the times I’ve led with pride, impatience, or selfish ambition. Too often, I’ve focused on appearances more than heart alignment. THANKSGIVING: Thank You for calling me to growth, not perfection. Thank You for the Spirit’s work in shaping me to lead and love with humility. SUPPLICATION: Father, refine my heart. Help me walk in integrity, self-control, and kindness. Let me lead—at home, work, or ministry—with a posture of service. Make me a lover of truth and a steward of Your grace, worthy of your calling on my life. PRAYER “For a bishop must be blameless, as the steward of God; not self willed, not soon angry, not given to wine, no striker, not given to filthy lucre; But a lover of hospitality, a lover of good men, sober, just, holy, temperate.” TITUS 1:7-8 Dear Lord, You have set clear standards for leaders in Your church. For that, I am grateful because the flock of God can be vulnerable to corruption. Its shepherds must be people of integrity! But I also know these qualities do not just apply to pastors and ministry leaders. These qualities apply to anybody who desires to be effective for the Kingdom of God. Purify my heart, strengthen my character, and refine my conduct for Your glory, Lord. Your Daily Prayer 🙏🏾 1 Samuel 27:7 Your mistakes don’t make you. FRUITS OF THE SPIRIT ACTION: KINDNESS Send flowers or a handwritten card to someone grieving. Today’s daily devotional is based on David making the terrible mistake of uniting with the Philistines and using them as a shield against Saul. STORY Bible in a Year: David in Ziklag Scripture "And David inquired of the Lord, ‘Shall I pursue after this band? Shall I overtake them?’ He answered him, ‘Pursue, for you shall surely overtake and shall surely rescue.’” 1 Samuel 30:8 Have you ever made a terrible mistake out of desperation? You’re not alone. We’ve all had our backs against the wall. We’ve made bad calls. But what matters most is how we respond to those failures. In this episode of Bible in a Year, David makes a terrible mistake. He unites with the Philistines and uses them as a shield against Saul. He cons the king of Gath into letting them settle in Ziklag. At first, it seems like a good partnership. David raids nearby villages for King Achish, pretending the spoils are from Israel. But really, he is raiding camps from Israel’s enemies. In David’s mind, he’s killing two birds with one stone. He’s protecting Israel while gaining an ally. But David has befriended the enemy. You can’t play with fire and not expect to get burned. David’s lies catch up to him, and he’s eventually forced to march against Israel. Lucky for him, God bails him out. But David’s neglect came at a cost: the women and children in his community were kidnapped. David’s men were furious at him. David was furious at himself. He could have given up. He could have let his failure anchor him to the floor. But we aren’t defined by our mistakes. Our inner strength is revealed when we pick ourselves back up and press forward. David marches alone to retrieve his people. His men followed, and together they triumphed. Your mistakes don’t define you. Get up. Press forward. Step into God’s calling. REFLECTION Consider your life right now. Are there any decisions you’ve made out of desperation that are costing you today? You don’t have to be stuck in those decisions. Don’t let your past keep you from your future. Pick yourself up and choose to press forward today. Ask God for what’s next, and confidently walk forward. PRAYER And the time that David dwelt in the country of the Philistines was a full year and four months. 1 SAMUEL 27:7 Dear Lord, as a tree finds its strength to endure from its roots, I too will find my strength in the depths of my roots and from the ground I choose to grow in. In moments of loneliness, give me the resolve and strength to remain planted in the place You’ve called me to. I will not abandon my values and morals to partner with others who offer protection and gain at the cost of my character and right to stand with You. I will not become comfortable with compromise as David and his men did during their season of loneliness in 1 Samuel 28. Because I am new and transformed, I will instead take on the latter spirit of David and fight for what is mine! I will retake and regain what the enemy has stolen from me! Through Your power God, I will be able to reclaim my land, my position and all that belongs to me, my family, and my future. I declare that compromise is not an option! Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 Psalm 78:72 So he fed them according to the integrity of his heart; and guided them by the skilfulness of his hands.” PSALM 78:72 DEVOTION Based on Psalm 78 This verse describes David’s leadership, blending two key qualities: integrity and skill. God chose David not just for his outward abilities, but for the heart behind them. His leadership was marked by compassion, honesty, and excellence. In our own lives, whether we lead many or few, we are called to lead like David—with a heart rooted in integrity and hands equipped by God. Talent alone is not enough; character sustains influence. As we grow in both heart and ability, we reflect God’s shepherd-like care and become a blessing to those we serve. A.C.T.S. REFLECTION ADORATION: God, You are the Good Shepherd who leads with wisdom and love. I praise You for modeling perfect leadership in all things. CONFESSION: Lord, I admit I often focus on performance rather than the condition of my heart. Forgive me for prioritizing outward success over inward truth. THANKSGIVING: Thank You for the examples in Scripture of leaders like David. Thank You for the ways You are shaping both my heart and my hands for Your glory. SUPPLICATION: Father, give me a heart of integrity and hands ready for Your work. Whether I lead at home, in ministry, or at work, help me to lead with Your grace. Strengthen my character and sharpen my gifts, so that my leadership reflects You. PRAYER “So he fed them according to the integrity of his heart; and guided them by the skilfulness of his hands.” PSALM 78:72 Dear Lord, I know that there is no replacement for integrity. No false humility or manufactured words could ever replace pure intentions. I pray that You would give me a pure heart, oh Lord, and set my gaze upward toward You. I want to be a person of honor, always matching my actions with my convictions. I know this is truly impossible without Your guidance, power, and comfort. So, I pray Your Spirit would give me all these things and more, for Your names’ sake. Make me more like You every day, Lord. Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 Proverbs 16:12 It is an abomination to kings to commit wickedness: for the throne is established by righteousness.” PROVERBS 16:12 DEVOTION Based on Proverbs 16 This verse highlights the divine standard for leadership. Righteousness, not power or success, is the foundation of lasting authority. When leaders act with integrity and justice, their rule is strengthened; but when wickedness prevails, the very structure of leadership begins to crumble. This principle applies not only to kings but to anyone in influence—parents, teachers, pastors, or employers. God honors righteousness because it reflects His character. As believers, we are called to uphold truth and integrity in every role we fill. It’s not about perfection, but about alignment with God’s ways. A.C.T.S. REFLECTION ADORATION: Lord, You are righteous and just in all Your ways. I praise You for being a King whose rule is pure and eternal. CONFESSION: Forgive me for the times I’ve compromised truth for comfort or failed to lead with integrity in my responsibilities. THANKSGIVING: Thank You for the wisdom in Your Word that sets the standard for true leadership. I’m grateful for Your guidance. SUPPLICATION: Father, shape my character to reflect Yours. In every area of leadership, you’ve given me—at home, work, or ministry—help me to walk in righteousness. Let my words and decisions honor You and encourage others to trust in Your justice. PRAYER “It is an abomination to kings to commit wickedness: for the throne is established by righteousness.” PROVERBS 16:12 Dear Lord, Your word is clear that leaders are held to a higher standard. Those who desire to lead will be held accountable for everyone under their care. That is why we pray for the leaders of our communities. Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 Proverbs 4:23 Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.” PROVERBS 4:23 DEVOTION Based on Proverbs 4 The heart is the wellspring of life—what flows from it determines the direction of our thoughts, words, and actions. That’s why Scripture urges us to guard it closely. What we allow into our hearts—bitterness, pride, love, or truth—shapes who we become. Diligence means intentionality. We don’t drift into godliness; we pursue it. To keep our hearts is to filter everything through God’s truth and to stay alert to what nourishes or poisons our inner life. A guarded heart isn't a closed heart—it’s one open only to what leads to life. A.C.T.S. REFLECTION ADORATION: God, You are the Searcher of hearts. I worship You for knowing me fully and caring about what lives deep within me. CONFESSION: I admit I’ve let too many distractions, wounds, and lies settle in my heart. Forgive me for being careless with what I dwell on. THANKSGIVING: Thank You for giving me Your Word as a guard and guide. Thank You for the Spirit who convicts, teaches, and transforms my heart. SUPPLICATION: Father, help me guard my heart diligently. Give me discernment to recognize what’s toxic and strength to let go of what doesn't honor You. Fill my heart with what is pure, lovely, and true so that everything flowing from it reflects Your love. PRAYER “Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.” PROVERBS 4:23 Dear Lord, I pray that You would keep our hearts aligned with Yours, so the paths we forge would honor You. People are counting on us to make decisions with conviction, courage, and resolve; we can’t do that if we are double-minded and our hearts are conflicted. Keep our gaze set on You, so our path might be straight and aimed at the ultimate destination– You! In Jesus' name we pray, Amen. 🙏🏾 PRAY FOR YOUR COMMUNITY Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/jarvis-kingston--1517583/support .…

Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 Mark 10:44-45 And whosoever of you will be the chiefest, shall be servant of all. For even the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.” MARK 10:44-45 DEVOTION Based on Mark 10 Jesus redefines greatness—not as status or authority, but as servanthood. He, the Son of God, came not to be served, but to serve and give His life. This example flips worldly ambition on its head. True leadership in the kingdom of God begins with humility and sacrifice. If we desire to follow Christ, we must be willing to pour ourselves out for others, just as He did for us. Service isn’t a lesser calling—it’s the highest. In serving others, we reflect the heart of Jesus and step into the kind of greatness that heaven honors. A.C.T.S. REFLECTION ADORATION: Jesus, I adore You for being the Servant King. You laid down Your rights, took on humility, and served the broken—me included. CONFESSION: Forgive me for chasing recognition or comfort instead of humbling myself. I confess how often I want to be seen more than to serve. THANKSGIVING: Thank You for showing that true greatness is found in love and sacrifice. Thank You for giving Your life so I could have mine. SUPPLICATION: Lord, shape my heart to serve with joy and humility. Make me aware of the needs around me, and I am willing to respond. Help me follow Your example—not just in words, but in actions, seeking no reward but to honor You. PRAYER “And whosoever of you will be the chiefest, shall be servant of all. For even the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.” MARK 10:44-45 Dear Lord, You are the great example of humility and selfless love. You showed us that the path to true greatness lies in serving others. As Your humble servant, help me to put aside my own ambitions and desires. Let me never think myself too important or too busy for the needs of others. May I never seek to be served, but rather to serve with love and kindness. Order my steps as I step outside myself to help those in need around me. Let me walk humbly without pride or arrogance, ever mindful of Your word and Your perfect example of service. Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 Psalm 121:4 Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.” PSALM 121:4 DEVOTION Based on Psalm 121 This verse brings profound comfort: God never dozes off or forgets about us. While we rest, He remains fully aware, active, and watchful. He guards His people continuously, without pause or distraction. When life feels uncertain or out of control, we can take peace in knowing the One who keeps us never grows weary. His care is not limited by time or circumstance. Whether we are awake or asleep, anxious or calm, God is ever-present. We are held by a Shepherd who watches over us both day and night. You can rest because He doesn’t. A.C.T.S. REFLECTION ADORATION: God, You are the ever-watchful Keeper. I praise You for being the same every hour, never inattentive or unaware. CONFESSION: Forgive me for the times I’ve lived as if I’m alone in my struggles, believing the lie that You are distant or unaware. THANKSGIVING: Thank You for being fully awake when I am weak, tired, or overwhelmed. Thank You that I can rest my head in peace, knowing You are near. SUPPLICATION: Lord, help me trust that I don’t have to carry everything. Teach me to rest physically and spiritually, knowing You are guarding every step. Give me faith to release control and peace to sleep in Your care. PRAYER “Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.” PSALM 121:4 Dear Lord, As I drift to sleep, I am thankful that You never sleep. You never tire or grow weary. You are always working, moving, and planning. I can sleep soundly because the God who never tires is actively working out His will for my life. I pray You would go before me tonight, and set tomorrow up for me. I pray I would wake up with a clearer picture of Your plan, and energy to carry it out. Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 Proverbs 3:21 & 24 My son, let not them depart from thine eyes: keep sound wisdom and discretion: When thou liest down, thou shalt not be afraid: yea, thou shalt lie down, and thy sleep shall be sweet.” PROVERBS 3:21 & 24 DEVOTION Based on Proverbs 3 Wisdom and discretion aren’t just intellectual traits—they’re spiritual safeguards. God instructs us to keep them before our eyes because they shape how we live, how we respond, and how we rest. When we trust in His wisdom and not our own, fear loses its grip. The promise here is deeply personal: you will lie down and sleep without fear. This sweet sleep isn’t from exhaustion or escape—it comes from confidence in God’s care. As we cultivate wisdom from God’s Word and lean into His understanding, our minds and hearts find peace. In His wisdom, even rest becomes an act of faith. A.C.T.S. REFLECTION ADORATION: Father, You are the source of true wisdom and peace. I praise You for being both my Counselor and my Protector. CONFESSION: I confess that I often lean on my own understanding and let fear rob me of peace. I neglect the wisdom You've freely offered. THANKSGIVING: Thank you for the sweet rest, You promise when I live in trust and obedience. Thank You for guiding me away from fear into faith. SUPPLICATION: Help me to treasure Your wisdom above my own reasoning. Let Your truth guide my choices, calm my thoughts, and give me restful sleep. Teach me to trust You more each day and each night. PRAYER “My son, let not them depart from thine eyes: keep sound wisdom and discretion: When thou liest down, thou shalt not be afraid: yea, thou shalt lie down, and thy sleep shall be sweet.” PROVERBS 3:21 & 24 Dear Lord, Sometimes the moments before sleep can be the hardest. Memories of past sins, mistakes, and shameful encounters can flood my mind. Harbored anger, resentment, and unresolved conflict can keep me tossing and turning in my bed. I pray that You would relieve my mind tonight. I pray that You would set me down and remind me that Your grace is sufficient. Replace my wandering and unsettling thoughts with memories of Your goodness. In Jesus’ name, Amen. 🙏🏾 PRAY FOR YOUR COMMUNITY Father in Heaven, please help this woman in need. Your Daily Prayer 🙏🏾 1 Samuel 20:38 Everyone is there for the good times but who has your back when you need it most ? FRUITS OF THE SPIRIT ACTION: KINDNESS Surprise someone with a small handmade gift. Today’s daily devotional is based on the story of The Bond of Friendship. David and Jonathan make promises to one another. Jonathan would protect David from Saul, and David would show favor and love to Jonathan and his family for all his days. Jonathan learned that Saul’s hatred for David was still burning hot, so he warned David and fled to the wilderness. STORY Bible in a Year: The Bond of Friendship Scripture "But show me unfailing kindness like the Lord’s kindness as long as I live, so that I may not be killed, and do not ever cut off your kindness from my family—not even when the Lord has cut off every one of David’s enemies from the face of the earth." - 1 Samuel 20:14-15 True friendship is tested when adversity strikes. Everyone is there for the laughs. Plenty of people are around when you get that promotion. But who has your back when you need it most? True friendship is a gift from God that transcends circumstances and challenges. In this episode of Bible in a Year, we witness the deep bond between Jonathan and David, which serves as a powerful example of loyalty, sacrifice, and mutual trust. As Saul's jealousy toward David intensifies, Jonathan finds himself torn between his allegiance to his father and his love for his dear friend. Despite the risks involved, Jonathan remains loyal to David. He risks his life and puts it all on the line to save him. Real friendships are forged in adversity. Jonathan and David’s bond grows stronger through struggles. In a time of uncertainty and danger, they pledge their loyalty to each other. They make a covenant to protect and support one another, even at the risk of their own lives. Do you want to know the wildest part of this whole thing? Jonathan has plenty of reasons to root for David’s failure. Jonathan is the prince and heir to the throne. If anyone should feel threatened by David, it’s Jonathan. Plenty of people want you to do well in life, just as long as it isn’t better than them. That isn’t Jonathan’s heart. Jonathan's selflessness and courage stand in stark contrast to the envy and hatred that consume Saul's heart. While Saul seeks to destroy David out of fear and insecurity, Jonathan chooses to stand by David's side, demonstrating the true essence of friendship—selfless love, unwavering support, and sacrificial devotion. As we reflect on Jonathan's covenant with David, may we be inspired to cultivate genuine friendships characterized by trust, loyalty, and mutual respect. The story of Jonathan and David reminds us that true friendship is a reflection of God's love for us. Just as Jonathan risked everything to stand by David, so too did Jesus lay down His life for us. REFLECTION Reflect on the friendships in your life and consider how you can strengthen and deepen those relationships. Are there ways you can show kindness, loyalty, and support to your friends, especially in times of need? This week, take the opportunity to reach out to a friend, express your appreciation for their friendship, and reaffirm your commitment to walk alongside them through life's challenges. Pray for God's guidance and grace to cultivate and nurture meaningful friendships that honor Him and reflect His love for the world. 🌍 🌎 🗺️ PRAYER And Jonathan cried after the lad, Make speed, haste, stay not. And Jonathan's lad gathered up the arrows, and came to his master. 1 SAMUEL 20:38 As My life continues to grow and evolve, I thank You Lord for blessing me with covenant relationships, like David and Jonathan’s. When I'm on the verge of stepping into my destiny, bless me with friendships that have the inside scoop on whomever is trying to cause me harm or hinder my purpose. I pronounce love and favor as the main companions in my friendships. I declare that the circle of friends surrounding my life are purpose driven and destiny minded. Thank You Lord that You are bringing the right people into my life at the right time. From this day forward I will make the conscious decision to invest into my relationships and ensure that our bond of friendship will be strong and purposeful. Even when it seems like I'm in a season of hiding and preparing, I will remain confident that distance and time won’t break the God connections surrounding my life. In Jesus’ Name, Amen. 🙏🏾 Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/jarvis-kingston--1517583/support .…

Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 Psalms 119:55 I have remembered thy name, O LORD, in the night, and have kept thy law. -Psalms 119:55 DEVOTION Based on Psalms 119 Even in the stillness of night, when fear or uncertainty can easily settle in, the psalmist finds strength by remembering the name of the Lord. God's name represents His character—faithful, powerful, and ever-present. To recall His name in darkness is to draw near to the One who brings light and peace. This remembrance is more than comfort; it leads to obedience. His Word becomes the anchor for the restless soul, even in the quiet hours. When our minds are fixed on who God is, our hearts respond in faith and reverence. The nighttime becomes holy as we invite God into it. A.C.T.S. REFLECTION ADORATION: Lord, I praise You for being a God who is near in every hour, even the darkest. Your name brings comfort, strength, and clarity. CONFESSION: Forgive me for forgetting to call on You when I feel overwhelmed. I often let worry speak louder than Your Word. THANKSGIVING: Thank You for the peace from remembering who You are. Thank you for never changing and for always being present. SUPPLICATION: Help me to build the habit of remembering Your name not just in difficulty, but daily. Let Your name guide my heart into obedience, even when I cannot see what lies ahead. PRAYER “I have remembered thy name, O Lord, in the night, and have kept thy law.” Psalms 119:55 Dear Lord, As my mind slips peacefully to sleep, I pray for You to flood me with memories of Your faithfulness. I pray that Your word would rush to the forefront of my mind, giving me peace before I rest for the night. You are a good God, and have always been faithful to me. I pray that I would never forget You, and when I arise, may I wake up with renewed energy and purpose. In a world filled with negativity and distraction, we are called to fill our minds with what is good and godly. What we dwell on shapes how we feel, how we act, and how we see others. God invites us to meditate on truth, beauty, and righteousness—to focus on what builds faith, fosters gratitude, and reflects His heart. Choosing to think about what is lovely and praiseworthy helps guard our peace and renew our minds. Take a moment tonight to examine your thoughts. Breathe out negativity and breathe in God's goodness. Ask Him to help you think in ways that honor Him and refresh your soul. A.C.T.S. REFLECTION ADORATION: Praise God for being the source of all that is true, pure, and lovely. Worship Him for giving you the ability to renew your mind through His Spirit. Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 Exodus 33:14 And he said, My presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest.” EXODUS 33:14 DEVOTION Based on Exodus 33 This promise from God to Moses is one of deep assurance: His presence is not only with us—it goes before us. We don’t walk into the unknown alone. Wherever God leads, He also accompanies. His presence brings more than guidance—it brings rest, peace, and the confidence that we are exactly where we need to be. True rest doesn’t come from perfect circumstances but from knowing we’re with the One who is faithful. God’s presence is our peace in every step, pause, and burden. When we trust Him to go with us, we can release fear and walk in quiet strength. Take a moment tonight to rest in His nearness. Breathe out tension, and breathe in His peace. He is with you now, and in every step ahead. A.C.T.S. REFLECTION ADORATION: Praise God for His nearness and faithful presence. Worship Him for being the God who goes before you and gives you rest. CONFESSION: Reflect on moments when you’ve tried to move ahead without Him. Confess any striving or fear that’s caused you to forget His presence. THANKSGIVING: Thank God for His companionship in every season. Express gratitude for the rest and reassurance He gives through His Spirit. SUPPLICATION: Father, let Your presence be my peace. Go with me into each day, and help me to walk in step with You. Teach my heart to rest in Your nearness, trusting You fully in all things.
