John 4:24
Worship is central to our relationship with God. Jesus said, “True worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth” (John 4:23-24). True worship isn’t about performance or rituals—it’s about connecting our spirit with His in humility and sincerity.
In Luke 7:36-50, the sinful woman shows us what authentic worship looks like. Despite rejection, she poured out her love at Jesus’ feet with tears, kisses, and perfume. Her actions reflected her deep recognition of Jesus as Savior, unlike Simon the Pharisee, who treated Jesus casually. Her worship was humble, pure, and focused entirely on Him.
True worship begins with humility—acknowledging our need for God’s grace. Like the woman, we must bring our whole selves, brokenness and all, to Jesus. This kind of worship transforms us, aligns us with God’s heart, and reminds us of His love, forgiveness, and peace.
Worship isn’t just for Sunday mornings; it’s a lifestyle of offering our hearts, minds, and lives to God every day.

He is here! Christ the Lord, the king of the Jews, the savior of the world is born today! Glory Hallelujah! What a glorious revelation. Praise you my sweet Lord of light and love. What a thrilling announcement to know that the prophecies of old have come to fulfillment. The cloud of darkness is about to be defeated and the kingdom of Love and justice is growing on the earth. The word is made flesh in the city of David where prophecy meets destiny. Glory Hallelujah! This is the day the Lord has made and I will be glad and rejoice in it. This is the day you came into this world wrapped in the flesh of a human baby just like me and all the other children of the spiritual seed of Abraham. You were the Savior whom God provided and appointed and had long promised from the beginning of the world. You are the great King being both God and man who is the only one able to work out salvation for all sinners. It is you, Jesus, who saved me from sin, satan, and the law of bondage to the world, death, and hell, and every enemy that wanted to destroy me. Thank you father for this powerful gift of your son, Jesus, who is the reason for everything . I will rejoice and be glad. In Jesus name Amen.🙏🏾

STORY Bible in a Year: Israel's Return to God Scripture "Then Samuel took a stone and set it up between Mizpah and Shen. He named it Ebenezer, saying, 'Thus far the Lord has helped us." - 1 Samuel 7:12 True repentance leads to God's deliverance. Return to the Lord with all your hearts. In this episode of Bible in a Year, we witness the Israelites’ spiritual awakening under the leadership of Samuel. Giving the “firstfruits” means offering God the best and the first of what we have, not what’s left over. It’s a posture of worship and trust, acknowledging that everything we have comes from Him. When we put God first, we invite His blessing. This doesn’t always mean material abundance, but it does mean a life marked by His provision, peace, and purpose. He was attentive to the voice of God, served the Lord and his people selflessly, and was chosen by God to guide Israel in a period of darkness and uncertainty. STORY Bible in a Year: The Rise of Samuel Scripture "Wherefore the Lord God of Israel saith, I said indeed that thy house, and the house of thy father, should walk before me for ever: but now the Lord saith, Be it far from me; for them that honour me I will honour, and they that despise me shall be lightly esteemed." - 1 Samuel 2:30 Our prayers reveal the depth of our faith. They reveal the earnestness of our desires and test our resolve. Hannah desperately desired a child. She labored in prayer. She poured herself out to God, desperate and humble. Hannah's prayer revealed the power of her faith, but it also showcased the faithfulness of God. The story of Hannah is one of hope amid hardship, perseverance in prayer, and the fulfillment of God's promises. Despite facing the bitterness of barrenness and the taunts of her rival, Peninnah, Hannah remains steadfast in her trust in God's faithfulness. Hannah's prayer, offered at the tabernacle in Shiloh, is a dramatic expression of her deep longing for a child and her unyielding faith in God's ability to grant her petition. In her prayer, she vows to dedicate her son to the service of the Lord if He answers her prayers. She follows through with that vow, and the entire nation of Israel is changed forever. Little did anyone know, Hannah’s prayers would change the course of history. Her son, Samuel, would change the landscape of faith forever. Your prayers will have a ripple effect into eternity. Hannah's prayer serves as a model of faith and devotion for believers today. It reminds us that in our moments of deepest need, we can turn to God in prayer, trusting in His goodness and His ability to work all things together for our good. Like Hannah, we can find strength and comfort in the assurance that God hears our prayers and is faithful to His promises. JOHN 15:5 DEVOTION Based on John 15 Jesus uses the image of the vine and branches to show our complete dependence on Him. Just as a branch draws life and strength from the vine, we must stay connected to Christ to thrive spiritually. Abiding in Him means daily communion, trust, and obedience—staying close through prayer, His Word, and surrender. When we abide in Him, our lives produce lasting fruit—love, patience, kindness, and more. But apart from Him, we become spiritually dry and unfruitful. By Your grace, You have given me the courage to press on even when I feel lost. Your strength is unparalleled and immeasurable - it fills me up with hope, faith and resilience. Even when I stand at the edge of exhaustion, You remind me that Your grace is sufficient for me. Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 Deuteronomy 11:8 Therefore shall ye keep all the commandments which I command you this day, that ye may be strong, and go in and possess the land, whither ye go to possess it;” DEUTERONOMY 11:8 DEVOTION Based on Deuteronomy 11 In this verse, God calls His people to obedience as the key to strength and success. By keeping His commandments, they would be empowered to enter and claim the land He had promised. Obedience is not just about following rules—it’s about aligning our hearts with God’s will so we can walk in His blessing and purpose. God’s strength flows through those who trust and obey Him. When we follow His ways, He equips us to face challenges and take hold of the promises He has prepared for us. Obedience opens the door to God’s provision, protection, and power in our lives. Take a moment tonight to reflect on your obedience to God’s Word. Breathe out resistance, and breathe in His strength. Ask Him to help you walk faithfully, trusting He will lead you to His promises.
