×Life is full of myths and beliefs that can make us miserable and distract us from what truly matters. These misconceptions cause worry, stress, unhappiness, and doubt, pulling us away from God’s truth. Have you noticed people around you feel this way? Have you noticed you may feel this way or at least a bit unsettled and unsure? Yet, Jesus tells us, “Don’t worry!” and promises us a full life here and now. Although it sounds good, it’s often easier said than done. In our new sermon series, “Eye on the Sparrow,” inspired by the old hymn “His Eye is on the Sparrow,” we’ll explore these myths and what God says about them, as we will delve into God’s Word, uncover the roots of our worries, and find practical ways to trust in Him to overcome each challenge. As we learn to trust God’s Eye on the Sparrow and discover the peace and purpose that come from trusting and knowing “He watches me.”…

This Sunday is one of the biggest days in sports—the day of the Big Game! While many of us are excited about the football action, there's something else that grabs our attention just as much, if not more: the commercials. These brief but impactful advertisements have become a huge part of our Big Game experience. From Coca-Cola's iconic Mean Joe Greene throwing his jersey to a kid, to Budweiser's unforgettable Bud Bowl, the hilarious Wazzupp, the clever E-trade baby, and the ever-entertaining Doritos and Snickers ads, these commercials have left a lasting imprint on our culture and Monday morning water cooler talk. But did you know that Jesus also had His own version of commercials? He used short, powerful stories called parables to convey deep and meaningful truths about the Kingdom of God. Just like those blockbuster commercials, Jesus' parables were designed to capture attention, provoke thought, and leave a lasting impact on the listeners. In this week’s message, "Commercial Break XXV," we'll take a look at five memorable commercials and see what powerful lessons we can learn from them. Just as these commercials have left an indelible mark on our society, Jesus' parables have the power to transform our lives and draw us closer to God. So, let's take a break and explore the…

Many of us are excited for the new year and its fresh start on January. We make resolutions for improving our lives. However, change is sometimes harder than it seems. The journey to change is difficult, and even our greatest intentions might fall short. Remember, we are not alone in this journey. Jesus gives us the strength to conquer our challenges. In Mark's Gospel we see the disciples at once left their nets and followed Jesus and accepted Jesus' invitation to change without hesitation. In the same way, we must also let go of our worries, concerns, and previous failures to follow Jesus and be ready At Once....…
As we dive into the busyness of the Christmas season & the end of another year, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed by the clutter in our homes, hearts, and lives. Picture an attic filled with old Christmas trees, decorations, old duct-taped luggage, surrounded by boxes and tubs overflowing with holiday items we didn’t even know we had. As we begin to try to clean out this space by tossing out many of the broken ornaments and worn-out decorations, we find ourselves overwhelmed by the sheer volume of stuff. In this crowded, busy holiday season, many of us feel overwhelmed by family relationships, financial pressures, regrets, failures, or even uncertainty. This message series will help us recognize that much of the weight we carry comes from things God never intended for us to bear & His solution is simple: let go of the unnecessary baggage and start cleaning out this Christmas. By decluttering our we can begin to open up new space and make room for something new God has in store for us.…
