76. We All Need That Daily Dose of Sunshine
Manage episode 387979650 series 3358737
What a great world to live in where everyone treat each other with compassion and care! Netflix’s Daily Dose of Sunshine gives us a look at that world through the eyes of psychiatric ward nurse Jung Da Eun. Beautifully crafted to show the characters’ inner worlds, this Kdrama asks us to empathize so we can try to understand the struggles people face. We talk about the show’s visual direction, it’s underlying themes and messages, our own experiences with mental health and what this Kdrama has inspired us to do. Truth be told, life is not all sunshine and roses, but with a little empathy we can make each other’s lives a little brighter.
