My name is Dr. Aileen McCabe-Maucher and I am a licensed psychotherapist, college professor, coach, and author of the book The Inner Peace Diet (Penguin, 2008) I specialize in helping people get clear about their life goals and take immediate action toward their highest vision. For over twenty years, I have helped thousands of people, just like you, tap into their own inner wisdom, overcome challenges and achieve their life-long dreams. Welcome to The Inner Peace Diet Diet Podcast! Thanks for tuning in. The purpose of this podcast is to provide free resources and information with regard to evidence based stress management strategies as well as experimental self-care technqiues. Many podcast episodes feature interview excerpts from Dr. Aileen McCabe-Maucher's latest book, a textbook entiled Complete Self-Care: Through Yoga and Beyond that will be published by Cognella in December 2018. These interviews feature a diverse and eclectic mix of licensed psychotherapists, Ivy League researchers and industry experts about their personal and professional stress management, self-care, and burnout prevention techniques.
