- Thanksgiving is right around the corner! Today we're doing a travel show to help you better prepare your trip if you're planning on traveling.
- The heaviest Thanksgiving traffic is expected to be on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings, typically around 4-6 PM.
- There will also be a national traffic peak on Wednesday afternoon.
- If you're traveling on Thanksgiving Day, the busiest times will be between 11 - 3 PM. You may want to travel in the morning, or after 6 PM to avoid traffic.
- The BEST times to travel is after 8 PM on Monday. Wednesday after 8 AM or 8 AM is also a light traffic time. Finally, Thanksgiving Day you can avoid heavy traffic before 11 AM.
- The earlier you travel, the better off you may be.
- The worst traffic will be in New York, Washington, D.C., LA, Atlanta, and Boston.
