Barry first found music when he borrowed his sister's record collection when he was about eight and was hooked. When Caroline started it was a new beginning, and he listened to all the stations, but Caroline was his favourite by far. Later he became a singer in a band, then started doing discos when he was 18. He joined Caroline in 1977, touring the country with the Caroline Roadshow for 10 years, having great fun. Barry helped with tender trips and worked on the Ross Revenge in '84 and '85. ...

BARE: A POP OPERA was edgy and (dare we say) groundbreaking when it took Los Angeles by storm in 2000. Twelve years following that electric debut, the show was retooled to become BARE: THE MUSICAL. Despite both versions having loyal fans, both were unable to thrive in the New York theatre scene. Still, that hasn't stopped BARE from being one of the most requested titles by our podcast listeners.
This week, we welcome the smart, funny, and glamorous Natalie Wachen (little "wa", big "CHEN"), on her one day off from the Broadway hit MERRILY WE ROLL ALONG, for a personal conversation about this unique piece of musical theatre. This episode has it all: evening gown discussions, memories of DEAR EVAN HANSEN tech rehearsals, theatre that will keep you out of hell, and a whole lot of soul baring. (Jeff manages to not cry!)
