"The hurling field is the central point of the community, " says St Mullins hurler, Seamus Murphy who has featured on successful Carlow Christy Ring and Joe McDonagh Cup winning teams in Croke Park.
John Doran has six county medals with the club winning his first in 2010 but has never played at the famous stadium.
Here the two St Mullins men look back on an amazing season which has seen the club emerge as champions from Carlow. They are in with a fighting chance of qualifying for a Leinster senior hurling club final when they take on Kilmacud Crokes in the semi-final on Sunday.
