Mike Yam is a sportscaster and studio host for NFL Network and SiriusXM radio. He has worked at ESPN, NBA TV and Pac-12 Network.

Yam is a graduate of Fordham University.

Mike grew up with a Chinese immigrant father from Hong Kong and an Italian mother. As a kid he always thought he was the only person on the planet who was Chinese and Italian.

When it came to deciding on food, Mike finds himself torn between his Chinese and Italian heritage. So, Mike went on writing a children’s book titled ‘Fried Rice & Marinara

Armed with an obsessive character, Mike is his own best critique and obsesses over his own mistakes.

This character of Mike, might have driven him to become the best version of himself in the broadcasting world.

He is a passionate advocate for social issues and has authored op-eds on immigration and the Asian American community.
