BASS FORWARD THE REVOLUTION CAST #6 – Sequent
We are pleased to present you Vienna-based newcomer „Sequent“ for the sixth episode of our podcast.
„Sequent“ is a DJ and producer from Austria, who developed her interest for drum & bass in the early teenage years. She started collecting vinyl at the age of 14 and only two years later, she discovered the love for mixing.
As a DJ, she played many gigs such as 'Mainframe', 'Beat it' at FLEX, 'Kolo Rave' with the Error crew or 'Drumfabrik' in Upper Austria and had her first international appearances in Czech Republic and Slovakia as well. She gained more and more notoriety with her mainly deep, dark and tech-driven sets and her sharp mixing skills which led to an interview and guestmix on the infamous Slovakian radio show 'Signall_FM'. In January 2020, Sequent started to launch her monthly mix series 'Sunday Sessions' together with Vienna based DJ „Aras“.
As a producer, Sequent released her debut EP 'Thread' with her collab partner „Skruff“ on 'Blu Saphir Recordings' in November 2019 and is now part of the label-rooster. In addition, she has two single releases on 'Mainframe Recordings' and another track coming up on 'Deep Within' and gained support from e.g. Camo & Krooked, DJ Marky and HLZ.
