UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer met with US President Joe Biden at the White House, where they discussed Ukraine, the Middle East and the Indo-Pacific. After the meeting, Starmer gave no indication if the UK and US would allow Ukraine to use long-range weapons inside Russia. Biden said Putin will "not prevail" in the war in Ukraine, during the meeting with Starmer. Russian President Vladimir Putin had previously warned against such a move, saying it would represent Nato's "direct participation" in the Ukraine war.
