We talk about the promise of studying human rights in our 20s, and the reality of becoming professionals in the field. How to transform a 3 weeks gig into a 2 year job? What is success? How to keep your hopes up in countries led by authoritarian leaders? We attempt to compare human rights work in Brazil and Norway, and conclude that… it's all about perspectives, celebrating every win, and, of course, building communities.
