Advent is meant to be a season of hope. Often, we find ourselves in seasons of tumult and trial, and on those dark nights of the soul, it is easy to lose hope. It's easy to feel like God is not there ore that he doesn't care about my pain, my suffering. As we study through Ruth, I am to show you how God's avoidance is always at work even when we cannot see it. How God knows and cares about everyone everywhere. How God is not a respecter of status or ethnicity but a God who loves the whole world, even little old me. So, let's buckle up as we dive into this little book about a big God.
