In this week's episode Cheryl and Liana talk with Dr. Toya about the gaps that we find in United States when it comes to postpartum care. They discuss what postpartum care currently looks like, and what it should look like. Our role as birth professionals is to help support our clients in getting the care that they need postpartum, whether that be from an OB/GYN, a lactation consultant, a mental health therapist, etc. We can help spread the word about the need for more postpartum support!
