• Demeaning a group for “jokes” is just not funny and can be confusing. It opens the door for others adopting stereotypes.
• Be curious about people. Consider the human being behind the behavior. Tolerance starts with ourselves.
• Whether it’s Mussar or other spiritual practices, curiosity about others can open the door to eventual acceptance of who they are.
• “Be green and growing, or ripe and rotting.” Your choice.
