Have you ever heard of the term change of use when it comes to buildings? What it means is the intended purpose for the building has changed. In this episode of the Building Design, Prime Time podcast Frank and Amelia talk about the process of what you need to do if you are looking to change to intended use of a building.
It might be a shed converted into a livable dwelling, a house being turned into a commercial dwelling like a medical centre or dentist, a retail shop being converted into a restaurant with an apartment above.
Frank and Amelia discuss the considerations to take into account and the reasons behind why this is sometimes not achievable in some cases.
Stay tuned for this exciting episode and subscribe each week so you can enjoy each episode.
