Here are the questions we talked about: -Before hearing Stetson’s message how have you normally thought of worship and what it is? -Stetson defined worship as any time and anyway we put God before us. Other than singing, what are some other ways we can worship? (please write down your students’ answers for this one!) -Have you ever felt like you were just going through the motions of worshipping? What was that like? -Have you ever taken a moment to think about who God is before worshipping Him? What was that like/what would it look like for you to try doing this? -What are some reasons God deserves to be worshipped? (based on Scripture, your experiences, etc) -How could thinking about these reasons before worshipping might help you worship in truth?
