Over 1.3 million people worldwide live with a disability. Yet for too long, their rights and opportunities in the workforce were left from the diversity inclusion agenda.

Caroline Casey is the founder of The Valuable 500, a global movement putting disability on the business leadership agenda of the world’s national and multinational private-sector corporations. To date, the CEOs of over 440 companies have committed to The Valuable 500 initiative, including Google, Fujitsu, Microsoft, and Unilever.

In episode #11 of Campus 10178, the ESMT Berlin podcast, Caroline shares her journey from “the disability closet” to C-suite corporate offices. Caroline speaks on the leverage of CEO commitment to disability inclusion, the dramatic situation shift under COVID, and the challenges and opportunities ahead – with a special message for today’s business school students.
