“Church.” It’s a loaded word, isn’t it? One that may bring warm thoughts to some, ‘meh’ thoughts to others, and even angry thoughts to a few. But what, exactly, is church for? What’s its purpose? And why is it so important?
As we kick off a new series, “Church Home,” we’ll explore those questions together because I guess you come to church for a few different reasons — but mostly because you’re looking for a place to connect with others and make a difference. And your Church Home should help you do just that. First, we’ll explore how community helps us grow into better versions of ourselves because that’s the key to fulfilling our own purpose, as well as the church’s.
