This week we return celebrating for some a much loved classic and for others a throw away monster mash up from 20 years ago this very week. We are looking back at Van Helsing (2004) on it's 20th Anniversary.

We discuss our own history of this film with Robbie loving this nostalgic monster movie in his teens and Seb never really understanding the fuss. So how will we react upon our first viewings in at least 10 years or more.

We talk of the sexual man Hugh Jackman, the classic monsters designs, heavy use of early 2000s CGI, Stephen Sommers other film catalogue, especially the Mummy and generally how much you can deem this a horror.

So grab your machine gun like crossbows, find your coincidentally misunderstood map and gather your nearest monster based pals for a journey back to 2004 with Cast Me To Hell.

Come and tell us your thoughts on Van Helsing or the episode in general @cmthpodcast on twitter and Instagram.
