It represents God's character, message, and instructions for mankind to live by, regardless of time or place. Peter provides a strong argument for trusting the Word of God as the only true and reliable source of information. By studying and understanding its teachings, we can combat the falsehood and deception spread by those against God. We must trust and apply what God instructs us to be found faithful upon His return or when we face mortality.
