You know the scene: Jesus announces that someone will betray Him. John asks Him who it could be and the disciples look around, shocked at this new development. Quietly, Jesus reveals that it would be Judas. Satan enters into him, and he leaves, not to be seen again until a few hours later when he returns with the soldiers. The text is familiar, but it creates questions that need answering. How do I know I’m not going to fall away? What do I do if I suspect someone might be drifting?
