Of course a six-figure income is the dream for freelancers and the self-employed. Duh. Financial security is something we all want. And starting a business of any kind and achieving a better financial future is the American dream (despite the haters it brings). But...

It isn't the only measure of success or reason to become a freelancer or become self-employed.

In this episode of the Confessions from the Couch podcast, I talk about how freelancing and self-employment can be a safety net for those who are under-employed, recovering from abusive relationships (like the one I escaped...and I delve into a little bit of that), and how you get so much more than just money if you decide to be your own boss.

Do not miss this episode and you definitely want to share it with your friends. Don't forget to subscribe.
