For this episode of Consumer Behavior Conversations, NDSU Consumer Behavior students Ben Zilmer and Hunter Wesloh have the pleasure of sitting down with the Agency Manager of the Fargo/Moorhead area for Gate City Bank, Steve Walker. During the podcast Steve talks about his rise to success as an Agency Manager, and as he continues to grow his team in the area. Steve has worn several hats on his way up to the top, with that insight he is able to give us tips as we are looking to enter the job force. Not only does Steve talk about his career, but about his life outside of work.

A little more about Steve, he is originally from Illinois and moved here to play football for NDSU. He quarterbacked the NDSU football team from 2004-2007 following his redshirt freshman season. During his time at NDSU he got a degree in Business Administration. The thing he said is most important to him is his family, he loves his kids and spending as much time with them as possible.

Just to touch on a few of the tips that Steve gave us that were the most important to his success was building relationships. This is done by networking and always putting the relationship with a stranger, friend, family and clients above your own interests.
