On this brand new edition of Cubs On Tap, Ron is back with a solo recap of the Cubs' series loss to the Milwaukee Brewers. After a frustrating sequence of games, Ron has plenty to air out.
From the series results, which were obviously poor, to the same old song and dance, the Milwaukee series was tough. The offense couldn't get it done, the starting pitching was really good, and the Cubs continue to find the same way to lose night in and night out.
From there, Ron transitions to the inevitable... the Cubs are sellers. Two series losses effectively guarantees that the Cubs will not be buying at the deadline. That said, there are ways to improve for the future. Ron shares his guesses for players on the block and finds the type of additions the Cubs will want.
Finally, Ron finishes up the show by previewing the upcoming series with the Kansas City Royals starting on Friday.
