David Linsay Willetts (born 9 March 1956) is a British Conservative Party politician and the Minister of State for Universities and Science. He is the Member of Parliament (MP) representing the constituency of Havant in Hampshire. This memorial lecture is a tribute to the life and work of John Ramsden, an eminent historian, politician and member of Queen Mary, University of London for 38 years.
