Payments Canada plays a vital role in supporting the Canadian economy as it ensures that our financial transactions are carried out safely and securely. In 2022, Payments Canada systems cleared and settled 119 trillion transactions. That works out to 476 billion every single business day! Tracey’s past experience includes executive roles at TD Canada Trust and RBC Royal Bank, and she's consulted extensively in the financial services industry as an independent consultant and with McKinsey Company. As President of GFH Group Inc. her responsibilities included the launch of chip cards or smart cards in Canada.
