The Theology, Medicine, and Culture Initiative (TMC) at Duke Divinity School and the Trent Center for Bioethics, Humanities & History of Medicine at Duke held a seminar on November 12th, 2021 with John Swinton, BD, PhD, RMN, RNMD, professor in practical theology and pastoral care as well as chair in divinity and religious studies at the University of Aberdeen. He gave a talk titled "Thinking about Theology and Mental Health: Bible, Spirit, and Church." TMC Seminars are a semi-monthly gathering of faculty, students, clinicians, and others interested in the intersections of theology, medicine, and culture.
