Parenting in a digital world is a minefield. How much screentime you allow a child can detrimetally affect brain development, social skills and create mental health issues for their future. Children under the age of three years should not have any screen time and up to the age of five years minimal screentime. No child should have a smartphone before the age of fourteen and exposure to social media not before sixteen.
