“Balance is not better time management, but better boundary management. Balance means making choices and enjoying those choices.” – Betsy Jacobson. Lately, many people in their 30s have asked me how I was able to start a business, raise my two boys (who played travel hockey from the age of 5), and maintain a marriage for 32 years.

The short answer is that I just put one foot in front of the other. Truly, there was no master's plan when I was in my 30s, knowing how to create a wonderful business and life. I’ve learned to set clear boundaries with every choice, but that has come over time.

This is why I chose this quote for today. It always boils down to boundaries and choices. We are the only ones who can control our future, so setting clear boundaries that you can live with is crucial.
