How do we create meaning between our values and our economics? Why is it so important to have those values ingrained in our businesses from the very beginning? In her book, Latinnovating: Green American Jobs and the Latinos Creating Them, Graciela highlights the work and innovation of Latinos in the green economy. She explains why the cultural values within the Latino community of conservation, sustainability, and creative re-use are an important driver of green innovation in America. Graciela also talks about 'Expectation Reform' vs "Education Reform', because our ideas and stories about other races and cultures need to shift from media driven stereotypes to a celebration of human creativity and diversity. Join us for an inspiring discussion on the emerging green economy and the innovations that are getting us there with Graciela Tiscareño-Sato.
