Solving the world's clean water problem | Joe Knopp

During the height of the pandemic in November 2020, an idea came to Joe Knopp in his Walsh University dorm room. He asked his roommate, Chip, “Do you think that we could solve the world water crisis?” Fast forward to today, Ripple has built 20 wells that provide communities with clean water with Joe and Chip at the helm. Ripple is a water bottle company whose mission is to solve the world’s water problem. With every 2000 bottles sold, a community in need receives a well that provides clean water. Listen in as Joe shares his experience in starting a purpose-driven company during a global pandemic, all from his small Ohio dorm room.
Joe is also a 2022 Global Student Entrepreneur Awards finalist and won the Social Impact Prize for his work with Ripple.
