When we accept Jesus in our heart, we are officially justified for all past, present, and future sin. In Episode 4 of the “God’s Guide To Discipleship” series, Michael Lane builds up our apologetics toolbox with Greek terminology to guide us in purification after we are justified. The Greek term ‘νίπτω” (Nipto) is the word for those who wash their feet and hands in symbolic cleansing. What does this have to do with us? We can now experience sanctification – continual cleansing through Jesus Christ – after our justification and remove the sin contamination accumulated in us as we work or live in this present world.
