A judge in Michigan torched RFK, Jr.'s attempt to remove his name from the state's ballots this year after Kennedy desperately tried to remove himself in order to help Donald Trump. The judge said that the state isn't going to change how they do business based on the "whim" of a candidate like Kennedy. This was a shot at Kennedy's fight to get on the ballot and then his fight to get off of it because he changed his mind. But there's much more to the ruling than just that little dig.
Also, during his recent rally in Pennsylvania, Donald Trump claimed that the reason he continuously goes off topic during his rants is because he's using an oratory strategy that he calls "The Weave." He then attacked the media, saying that they will say he's off-topic or going crazy, but it is apparently all a part of his strategy. This isn't true at all, but he knows that the media is making a big deal of his cognitive decline so he's trying to pretend that it is all being done on purpose.
And Lauren Boebert recently had her first, and probably only, debate against her Democratic opponent Trisha Calvarese, and it went as poorly for Boebert as you would expect. Boebert ended up melting down from the pressure that Calvarese put on her over her poor voting record, showing that you don't always have to go to the personal level to take down your opponent - But Calvarese did end up getting a few good shots in, too.
Finally, according to new reports, Republicans in Washington, D.C. are actually hoping that Donald Trump loses the 2024 election so that the Republican Party can finally move on from him. Even though nearly all of them are publicly supporting Trump, they are more than ready to be rid of him behind the scenes. The only problem is that Trump has solidified himself into the Party's apparatus so deeply that there is almost no chance they can make a clean break.
