Barry first found music when he borrowed his sister's record collection when he was about eight and was hooked. When Caroline started it was a new beginning, and he listened to all the stations, but Caroline was his favourite by far. Later he became a singer in a band, then started doing discos when he was 18. It's movies like this that make me love the 90s. The ability to make multi genre horror thrillers with a domestic medical drama and demon afterlife subplot is unmatched. I was searching for something to review in October and this has been on my list forever, mostly for the stacked cast. I went in knowing nothing and this was nothing short of a wild ride.
I mean Jeff Goldblum as the dad and Alicia Silverstone as the bratty daughter should be reason alone for you to see this. Within the first half of the movie we have demon possession, chunky sweaters, a car accident, and a Pearl Jam reference. Again we have the Pacific Northwest as a backdrop cause (duh, its the 90s) and a very weird and unexplainable Jeremy Sisto.
