Dr. Vaisman reacts to the province's announcement that it will begin its economic reopening plan this Friday. Meanwhile, Ontario is faced with the emergence of a new variant known as B.1.617 which was first discovered in India and is more transmissible than the UK variant. Now, public health experts are urging for the prioritization of second doses in Peel Region where it is expected that this will be the dominant strain in the coming weeks.
