Wanting to come closer to Christ? Do you wish you could learn gospel principles while also enjoying your favorite movies? In this podcast we will be discussing eternal truths that we can find in modern tv and film. My mission is to help you not only see God in the scriptures and Sunday school, but in places we don’t expect--like during family movie night! If you’re ready to change your focus and start seeing Christ in The Lion King, Harry Potter, and Bluey, then you’re in the right place! Hey, I’m Valerie! I’m a wife, mother, follower of Christ, and member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I grew up loving movies and books about princesses, superheroes, animals, and dinosaurs. Stories are a powerful way to learn lessons, and now as an adult I’ve enjoyed looking for analogies in my favorite films. It was while rewatching the animated classics with my kids that I realized there were so many eternal truths and principles being taught, if only I’d look for them. They really are everywhere! And now I want to share them with you! If you’re ready to have uplifting, spiritual conversations about The Sound of Music or Hercules with your new BFF as you do your laundry or dinner prep... Then this podcast is for you! Grab some popcorn and your favorite drink, sister, the show is about to start. Let’s go!
