He is the Gold Star Father of Navy SEAL Team Six Operator Adam Brown who was killed in action on March 17, 2010 in Afghanistan. Adam Brown’s incredibly inspiring life story is wonderfully told by Eric Blehm in the book Fearless. In this interview, Larry shares some memories of his son, talks about his reaction to the book and recounts how much Adam loved being a Dad. Karen & Billy Vaughn are Gold Star Parents of Navy SEAL Team 6 Operator Aaron Vaughn who was killed in action on August 6, 2011 when a chinook helicopter, Extortion 17, was shot down in Afghanistan.
