Manage episode 287574604 series 2895708
In this episode I am joined by my friend Matt Arrington. Matt is currently an Assistant Coach with the D.C. United U17 academy team and the CEO of Arrington Training and Development, a one stop shop for soccer players including technical work, injury rehabilitation and strength and conditioning. Matt is a former Assistant Men's Soccer Coach at Howard University.
We discuss Matt's playing background in the DMV area and what he remembers about his college recruiting process. We also speak about his decision to attend George Mason and his decision to leave college soccer early after his sophomore year to pursue opportunities and experiences in Italy. We also briefly touch upon navigating the college recruiting process through the current COVID-19 Pandemic.
Matt Arrington played for Walt Whitman High School and Olney Soccer Club, as well as Bethesda Soccer Club as a youth player in the DMV.
