What does the invention of windshield wipers have to do with trying to solve our DMO plan problems? NOTHING. Actually, that's not true. I think we can all agree that windshield wipers are a great invention. The problem is that they were solving the WRONG problem. We did that at the practice when we were trying to figure out how to handle the low reimbursement DMO patients. They were clogging our schedule and reducing our revenues. So we needed a new approach and it wasn't simply increasing fees or having dedicated DMO days...
