Welcome back! We are so excited to share with you our second podcast interview, this time with the incredibly worthy, John Bertrand AO.

For many of you, John will need no introduction as he famously skippered Australia II to victory in the 1983 America’s Cup ending a 132-year winning streak by the Americans. Further to this John is an Olympian, has authored a number of books, was chairperson of the Sport Australia Hall of Fame and The Alannah and Madeline Foundation, and President of Swimming Australia. He was also awarded an Order of Australia medal in 2016.

John's life achievements, some of which are listed above, have borne the result of a deep understanding of flow state, both theoretically and practically. In addition to his own experience of flow state, during this podcast John speaks about flow state in relation to high performing teams and leadership.

Listen to this podcast to:

  • learn about how flow state links to high performing teams;
  • learn about how leadership can influence flow state;
  • hear how John Bertrand has experienced flow state in slow motion, and;
  • understand how there is no place for ‘oh f***’ moments in life.

Enjoy!
