I woke up this morning with one thing on my mind, "As Christians, we ought to be stunningly thankful.

Here are some of the verses that believers in God should be ridiculously thankful for.

We experience the mercies of God, every minute.

"Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest. 29 "Take My yoke upon you, and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and YOU SHALL FIND REST FOR YOUR SOULS. 30 "For My yoke is easy, and My load is light."

Matthew 11:28-30

"The LORD is compassionate and gracious, Slow to anger and abounding in lovingkindness. 9 He will not always strive with us; Nor will He keep His anger forever. 10 He has not dealt with us according to our sins, Nor rewarded us according to our iniquities. 11 For as high as the heavens are above the earth, So great is His lovingkindness toward those who fear Him. 12 As far as the east is from the west, So far has He removed our transgressions from us. 13 Just as a father has compassion on his children, So the LORD has compassion on those who fear Him. 14 For He Himself knows our frame; He is mindful that we are but dust."

Psalm 103:8-14

Our so what?

Because of mercy, we know

Death is conquered.

We have a new inner person.

We have peace with God.

We have hope.

Our relationships have eternal meaning.

Our conduct has eternal meaning.

We have eternal life with the God who loves us.

Brethren, let's pray for one another.
