Cork hammered their neighbours Tipperary by 18-points on a day described as a 'dark day for Tipp hurling' by their manager Liam Cahill, as the Premier crashed out of the Championship. Davy Fitzgerald fumed at the decision to award a 65m, which was pointed by Mark Rodgers, in Waterford's loss to Clare in Ennis.

Four teams can still qualify in Leinster, but will Dublin feel they left a golden chance to beat Kilkenny behind them at Parnell Park?
